New customer: Academy project “Research Continuity and Continuity Research”

The academy project “ Research continuity and continuity research. Basic settlement archaeological research on the Iron Age in the Baltics is an interdisciplinary and internationally oriented research project. The results are compiled in an archaeological atlas, which comments on the relevant Baltic sites in a catalog-like manner. At the same time, the shared cultural heritage of the region's archeology from before 1945 will be permanently digitally secured. The project is led by the Center for Baltic and Scandinavian Archeology in Schleswig and the Museum of Prehistory and Early History of the Berlin State Museums - Prussian Cultural Heritage . The project is scheduled to last 18 years and is funded Mainz Academy of Sciences and Literature

easydb is used as a research database for the scientific presentation and management of archive materials, finds and other sources from the former Prussia Museum Königsberg. At the same time, the sites are reconstructed from the sources and recorded digitally, creating a local thesaurus on the archeology of the former province of East Prussia.
