Programmfabrik GmbH based in the heart of Berlin, is a provider of the web-based software easydb . easydb is a flexible repository for media and associated relationally structured metadata. easydb is used as a Digital Asset Management tool. digitalasset has been successfully used in the areas of press and public relations and product marketing. As easydb.university , easydb . museum and easydb.archive easydb is used with the same code base in the area of managing cultural assets, teaching materials and research data.
Practical knowledge in the area of product development and quality assurance can be acquired as part of a compulsory internship:
Programmfabrik offers students of Info technology or related fields of study the opportunity to gain insights and in-depth knowledge in the areas of software development and quality assurance. A duration of at least three months is recommended for internships:
Areas of application:
As part of an innovative team, you will test our product easydb in version 5:
- Tests of basic functions and special customer solutions
- Writing bug reports and communicating with developers
- Quality assurance through manual and automated software testing
- Apply and deepen your own programming knowledge
You can contribute and expand the following knowledge with us:
- Programming C++, Python, Javascript or Coffeescript
- System administration Debian/Ubuntu Linux Server + Windows Clients
- Design with knowledge of HTML + SCSS or Photoshop
- Support & documentation in German and English
Requirements:
- Studying Info technology or an IT-related subject
- Feel for usability and design
- Reliable and very thorough way of working
