6th AG Collection management Conference
On the 13th-14th April 2015 will take place in Hann, Lower Saxony. The 6th conference on collection management (“SPECTRUM conference”) took place in Münden.
The conference is organized by the AG Collection management of the Documentation Section of the German Museum Association in collaboration with the Institute for Museum Research , Berlin State Museums - Prussian Cultural Heritage and the Municipal Museum . Münden carried out.
The focus of the conference is on the requirements for collection documentation and collection management that arise as soon as collection objects or parts of the collection are used. This applies to scientific investigations, exhibitions and display depots, museum educational activities or courses in the broadest sense. This also raises various questions regarding the documentation of this use, the specific handling or even legal issues. The challenge for corresponding software solutions is to meet these high requirements.
The program is filled with contributions from numerous speakers and is available on the AG Collection management . Programmfabrik is looking forward to interesting lectures and discussions in Hann. Münden.
