The German Art Historians' Day is an important national congress at which around 1,000 art historians from the fields of universities, Museum and monument preservation meet every two years. Organized by the Association of German Art Historians eV , this year's German Art Historian Day takes place under the patronage of the Prime Minister of the State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, Erwin Sellering, and is hosted by the Art History Department of the Caspar David Friedrich Institute at the University of Greifswald .
