The German Art Historians' Day is an important national congress at which about 1000 art historians from the fields of university, Museum and monument preservation meet every two years. Organized by the Association of German Art Historians e.V., this year's German Art Historians' Day will take place under the patronage of the Minister President of the State of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, Erwin Sellering, and will be hosted by the Department of Art History of the Caspar David Friedrich Institute of the University of Greifswald.
