Info : The sustainability of research data, the sharing of research data or the publication of data sets are becoming increasingly important. Journals often require publications of the underlying data of an article to be made available. Universities, including the University of Hildesheim, are adopting research data policies, and researchers are discussing both the opportunities and risks of open data, the challenges of data protection and research ethics.

Annette Strauch from the Hildesheim University Library gives a brief overview of the topic of research data management . In addition, the university library's range of e-science support services is presented.
