Bremen State Institute for Schools
With the online archive on the regional history of Bremen, the Center for Media of the State Institute for Schools Bremen (LIS) is expanding its offering. The central task of the LIS is to promote and support schools and educational institutions in the state of Bremen. To make access to the image and film archive easier, the LIS uses the web-based software solution easydb . The entire collection, which consists of 400,000 analog and 20,000 digital images as well as around 3,500 films, is now gradually being digitized and transferred to the online archive. In the future, Bremen's history can be researched and browsed online in pictures and films.
