CitizenAchives at zooniverse – Leibniz Institute for Spatial Social Research (IRS)
In the Citizen Archive project of the Leibniz Institute for Spatial Social Research (IRS), the integration of easydb and zooniverse has created a productive interface that optimizes the organization and display of images and enables a participatory investigation of the GDR's construction and planning history. easydb serves as a solid file management system, while zooniverse provides a platform for interactive exchange and collaborative commenting. This combination promotes the development of previously inaccessible cultural and historical resources and enables a differentiated view of everyday life in the GDR.
